PT Asei Reasuransi Indonesia (Persero) - PT Asei Re (Persero) or later known as Asei Re is a fast growing state-run general insurance company, based in Jakarta and is fully owned by the Government of Indonesia through the Minsitry of State-Owned Enterprise. Asei Re provides a full range of insurance and credit guarantee services for export activities, including reinsurance, loss insurance, credit insurance, suretyship, export insurance and sharia insurance. The Company was founded in 1985 and initially known as PT Asuransi Ekspor Indonesia (Persero). In July 2014, the Company was transformed into PT Asei Reasuransi Indonesia (Persero). Asei Re now has 21 branches and 32 marketing offices throughout Indonesia. The financial performance of Asei Re in 2013 showed a good improvement. Asei Re posted an increase of 46.79% in total assets from Rp 1.30 trillion in 2012 to Rp 1.91 trillion in 2013, according to Asei Re's recently published financial statement as quoted by BursaKerja.top.
