PT Bank BNI Syariah - BNI Syariah is an Islamic-based financial company in Indonesia, based in Jakarta which specializes in sharia banking industry. The Company is a directly-owned subsidiary company of state-owned bank PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Bank BNI). BNI Syariah was first established in 2000 as a Sharia Business Units (SBU) of Bank BNI. At first establishment, SBU Bank BNI started with 5 branches in Yogyakarta, Malang, Pekalongan, Jepara dan Banjarmasin. In 2010, PT Bank BNI Syariah was launched as a spin off results of SBU Bank BNI.
