Requirements
- M.Sc or as a minimum Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- At least 8 years of working experience in Telecommunication with knowledge in Operational Support Systems, Network Management Systems as well as basic knowledge in telecommunications such as RAN, Transmission, Core and IP Network.
- At least 4 years of management experience in telecommunication/IT.
- Certification in TMForum, ITIL or TOGAF is an advantage.
- You have contributed to improving efficiency in processes and procedures by optimizing usage of system portfolio.
- You are experienced in managing Stakeholder and Project Management expectations and through clear communication of system/solution capabilities and limitations and possible solutions.
- Experienced in vendor management towards tier 1 and tier 2 vendors.

- Indepth knowledge of optical transmission systems.
- Indepth knowledge of microwave systems.
- Indepth knowledge of SDH, ATM, xWDM, (Carrier) Ethernet, PW, MPLS(VPN), TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g. BGP, ISIS, OSPF, etc…), IDS/IPS, Firewalls and security concepts.
- Strong experience with IP networking, in particular the Cisco, Juniper and Huawei range of equipment. Knowledge should be at least on CCNP level; for the senior role, a CCIE level is required.
- Good knowledge of / experience with fixed platforms (e.g. VoIP, DSLAM, IPTV, multicasting, xDSL, DLM, Bonding, FttH, Profiling, DHCP, PPPoE, CPE, Wifi, encoding, DRM, etc…).
- Indepth knowledge of transmission concepts, topologies and network architectures.
- Good knowledge of / experience with telecommunications principles and practices.
- Good knowledge of / experience with processes and tooling involved in the planning and operation of mobile/fixednetworks.
- Good knowledge of / experience with running a RFI/RFQ process and managing external suppliers.

- MSc. in Telecoms or IT with specialization in telecom or data networks;
- A combination of (people) management and technical experience;
- Strong leadership skills;
- Fluency in English is required, strong verbal and written communication is essential;
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Telecom management, including daily operations, personnel, financial responsibility and strategic planning;
- Profound project management experience in IT/Telco environment;
- Proven experience in people management;
- Experience with technical budgeting and financial accountability;
- Experience with TechnicalEconomical analysis;
- Experience with suppliers strategic roadmap management.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of subscriber traffic models and traffic distribution models, forecasting, and tuning for telecommunications networks.
- Must have in-depth technical knowledge and experience with Network element management systems, and capacity planning and network performance metrics.
- Strong working knowledge of application tuning techniques and tools.
- PC-based modeling skills.
- Motivated and curious to learn new things.
- Be able to keep up with knowledge in this complex and fast moving technology area.
- Reporting Applications of Network element managers.
- Strong knowledge of windows office tools and applications
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Processes and tooling involved in the planning and operation of mobile networks.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural working environment with highly qualified and demanding colleagues.
