PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali - PJB is a reliable electric power company in Indonesia. The Company is based in Surabaya East Java and established since 1995. PJB is a subsidiary of state-owned electicity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN. At present, PJB has 6 generating power plant units throughout the Java island with an installed electricity capacity of 6,977 MW. PJB's power plant units are located at Gresik, Muara Karang Jakarta, Muara Tawar Bekasi, Cirata Purwakarta, Brantas Malang, and Paiton Probolinggo. The Company also supported by 2 maintenance service units, 5 operational maintenance service units, and 3 directly-owned subsidiaries (PT PJB Services, PT Rekadaya Elektrika, and PT PT Navigat Innovative Indonesia). In 2012, PJB’s comprehensive income reported 22.84% down, from Rp 1.14 trillion in 2011 to Rp 880.27 billion in 2012.
