Provinsi Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota Jakarta - Provinsi DKI Jakarta or the Province of Special Capital Region of Jakarta (more popularly called as Jakarta is) a province of Indonesia with special status as the capital of Indonesia. The Province is located in northwest coast of Java Island. The Province is recognized as the largest city in Indonesia with total population of 9,761,407 as of December 2012. DKI Jakarta also ranked 17th among the world's 200 largest cities. The area of DKI Jakarta is 740.28 km2 of City, 662.33 km2 of Land and 6,977.5 km2 of water.
